REmmy Award Win!
A big congratulations to @LinkedIn who won the Wellness Leadership in Real Estate Award for their Canadian HQ project at the 11th annual REmmy Awards, hosted by @CoreNetGlobal. LinkedIn is now one of the first tenant in Toronto to achieve BOTH WELL Platinum and LEED Platinum status. Through innovative design and features of the physical space, @LinkedIn has redefined Wellness in the built environment, going above and beyond industry standards.
DPI was selected as Construction Managers by the LinkedIN project team to build out their new Canadian HQ at 16 York Street, Toronto. To ensure success, @Jessica Child applied her WELL and LEED certifications by implemented a separate program within the project that specifically focused on WELL/ LEED requirements from start to finish all while continually managing a complex and heavily detailed construction project during the pandemic. A highly maintained and specifically sorted, organized and cleaned job site that accumulated points toward the WELL application was upheld @David Capannelli, in the midst of the Base Building project that was being completed by Cadillac Fairview’s 16 York Street team, a huge achievement on a project of this complexity. DPI worked through every finish and material specification with our trade partners during the lifecycle of the project to maintain the Wellness design standards. @Shane Lee’s weekly tracking of all administration for sustainability & wellness was outstanding, and allowed us to achieve Platinum for WELL certification. DPI engaged Ecovert to cross-check all of our documentation and ensure strict adherence for this end goal.
This tremendous prize was no small feat and is only possible because of the entire project team: @Karen Sorbera, @Mohammad Abuzahra, @Tabitha , @Jessica Child, @David Capannelli, @Elvio DiSimone @Graeme Young @Ryan McIver @Cannon Design @DPI Construction Management @Ares
