The HOOPP Project consists of a 6 floor multi-phased build-out in the newly constructed 1 York Street, Toronto. The building is a raised floor structure with highly efficient LEED compliant mechanical and electrical systems.
Preconstruction services included multiple budget exercises to ensure the Project could be tendered and delivered within the Client’s financial goals. Materials were pre-purchased to ensure the Client’s aggressive timelines could be met, and project resources were carefully tracked to ensure a successful project delivery.
As the first Tenant and Construction Manager to begin work in the building, DPI worked together with Menkes to develop building protocols that would allow for the organized construction of tenant space within the yet to be completed base building, and to set the groundwork for multiple Tenant contractors.
When HOOPP decided they needed additional space for their expanding business, they reached out directly to DPI for assistance.
